About Me

Rev David G. Farrow
Rev David G. Farrow

Hi my name is David Farrow I am married to Christine and we have three married children, and eight grandchildren. I retired from secular work at the age of 50 due to a chronic back condition which restricts my mobility. Along with my secular work for a period of some 27 years I have also been involved in the pastoral ministry of several small Baptist Churches in Norfolk, Essex and Suffolk, the most recent being at Hethersett Reformed Baptist Church in Norfolk.

I am a firm believer in the fact that the bible is the inspired word of God, and that every word contained in it from the very first to the very last is completely true. The bible is the complete revelation of God revealing His plan and purpose for mankind and for the creation He brought into being by the word of His mouth. The bible tells me that with God nothing is impossible, therefore as the bible states, He was perfectly able to create the heavens and the earth in six literal days.

Theologically and doctrinally I am a Calvinist although that’s not a term that I particularly like, I prefer to be known as a Biblical Christian, it is my understanding that the Doctrines of Grace permeate the Bible, they are truths that were taught by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, Paul and other of the apostles clearly teach them in their epistles, they were taught by the early Church Fathers as well as Calvin and the other Reformers. It is my belief that The Doctrines of Grace are the pillars of the Christian Faith and in these days of growing apostasy there is a need for them once again to become the focal point of the churches preaching and teaching.
